Our History

After 15 years of honing his skills at an accounting firm in New York, Eric Schultz concluded that founding his own firm, EAS Accounting Services CPA, LLC, would give him the flexibility he needed to better service his clients. With the singular mission of providing the same exceptional service of an in-house team, with the flexibility of an outsourced group of experienced professionals, Eric worked tirelessly to provide complete accounting services to his clients. This included everything from fund administration to outsourced controller/CFO functions, to shadow fund accounting services to corporate and personal tax preparation and review.

Eric’s attention to detail along with his ability to provide unique insights based on his extensive experience in the areas of private equity, venture capital, outsourced CFO responsibilities, management company support, and tax expertise, quickly established EAS Accounting as a first-rate option for complete fund administration. Based solely on its reputation, EAS Accounting grew the fund administration portion of its business significantly over the course of the next 16 years.

Then in 2019, Eric decided to continue to focus on strengthening the fund administration portion of his business by bringing aboard a powerful team of senior managers that have over 60 combined years of collective experience in larger fund administrators. He also partnered with a specialized Private Equity Software company to provide industry-leading technology and reporting to its clients and their investors. These strategic moves further established EAS Accounting as a powerhouse among mid-level fund administrators in the industry while providing their clients an unmatched level of expertise and service.

In 2020 with over 25 employees, Eric decided to rebrand EAS Accounting and unify their team with a new name, a new brand identity, and a cohesive message. Reliant Fund Services, LLC has since continued to grow as a staple of excellence and collaborative thinking in the fund administration industry.
